HERINGER VINEYARDS & WINERY: CERTIFIED GREEN PREMIUM GRAPES AND BULK WINE
Heringer Vineyards is intensely farmed for the highest quality wine grapes achievable in the appellation. We implement deficit irrigation, shoot thinning, leaf pulling, fruit thinning, select hand harvest, and table-top sorting for our lots and is all included in the price. We have carefully and meticulously selected the best clones available to match our soils and microclimate. All varieties are arranged bi-lateral and vertical shoot positioned on an east-west orientation. This provides the best possible growing conditions for all of our varieties. Every year each variety is individually assessed throughout the growing season and individual management plans are executed to assure the highest quality wine grape upon harvest.
Last year we sold grapes to more than two-dozen wineries that had great success with our premium Clarksburg vineyards. In the last year, the San Francisco Chronicle, Orange County Fair, and California State Fair have awarded our vineyards gold medals for best of class, best of region and best micro-winery across multiple varietals.
